PROSTOROŽ

Prostorož at
MATERIAL BAR

The Prostorož Interdisciplinary collective has been exploring how we use shared urban environments for 20 years. Through extensive participation of local communities, they are creating playful public spaces in dialogue with their users and the environment. They will create a new public space on the terrace of Villa Bagatti Valsecchi and open a discussion with organisations from the local area that are programmatically and ideologically similar. They invited the urbanist  Valeria Lorenzelli, MIC-HUB  team and group Sai che puoi. The visitors will be invited to join them at the bar and discuss the current topics regarding space design and architectural practice in general.

Prostorož is a nonprofit urban planning studio founded in 2004, dedicated to researching and understanding open urban spaces. The interdisciplinary collective consists of architects, urban planners, social scientists, and technical collaborators, whose expertise enables a multidimensional approach to the challenges faced by both small and large cities. Through their projects, they transform streets into squares, revitalize forgotten spaces, engage local communities, and create opportunities for new uses of public space.
