Nika Ravnik developed a design approach that enables efficient, practical, and flexible creation of wearable and useful pieces of clothing with her own method of assembling smaller pieces of fabric. She exhibits 7 pieces of her latest designs and involves visitors in her work process of unconventional zero-waste clothing design from basic geometric textile pieces, using small scale fashion mannequins made of wood.

Nika Ravnik is a designer who places special emphasis on exploring the structure and form of clothing. She graduated in textile and fashion design from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana and further honed her skills at Central Saint Martins in London and Designskolen Kolding in Denmark.
Sustainability is at the core of her creative ethos, with a focus on conscious design approaches such as the zero-waste principle, the one-size-fits-all concept, and versatile functionality. Simple geometric forms serve as the foundation of her creations, which transform into unique, wearable pieces through experimentation and detail manipulation. Her aesthetic reflects a conceptual approach, blending avant-garde elements with a sense of timelessness.
